At the Mobile Asia Expo in Shanghai, Sony introduces its first 4G TD-LTE smartphone for China Mobile. Announced alongside the Xperia Z Ultra, the Xperia SP M35t, as its name suggests, is a TD-LTE-capable version of the Xperia SP. Except for the support for China Mobile’s TD-LTE 4G network, the handset is the same as the original SP.
The phone features the same design, including the co-moulded aluminum frame and the transparent strip. It sports a dual-core 1.7GHz SnapDragon S4 Pro procesor and 1GB of RAM. The 4.6-inch Reality Display has 1280x720p HD resolution. It features a 8 Megapixel camera with Exmor RS for mobile sensor and Full HD video recording. There is also a front-facing VGA camera. It includes GPS/AGPS/GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi, DLNA, Miracast connectivity.
The M35t will be available in white and black.
