HTC is launching in its homeland the Desire L, a low-mid-range Android smartphone with modest hardware. The new phone comes with a simple, sleek and fashionable design and will be available in pink, white and black colors. In fact, this is not really a new phone as it is the Taiwan version of the One SU for China.
The Desire L is boosted by a 1Ghz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. It sports a 4.3-inch Super LCD2 touchscreen display with 800×480 WVGA resolution. The 5 Megapixel camera gets BSI sensor, F2.0 28mm lens and LED flash, and is capable of 720p HD video recording. The ImageChip is also included for enhanced image quality. For connectivity, you can find Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, GPS/GLONASS. It also features Beat Audio sound enhancement.
4G LTE supported is not included and the phone works on tri-band GSM/EDGE and 900/2100 HSPA mobile networks. There are 4GB internal storage and a microSD card slot for expansion. Like all HTC Android phone, the Desire L comes with HTC Sense user interface.
