Not just drops, Seidio’s OBEX is also IP68-rated for protection against water (even full submersion in water), snow and other liquids and dust, thanks to the case’s two-stage protection system that tightly seals all critical points of entry. The acrylic glass screen protector is also tough with a 4H hardness rating to protect the device’s glass, and sits flush with the screen. Ports are protected by rubber stoppers that can be removed easily for access.
According to Seidio, the case is built to protect without affecting functionality and radio and wireless signals. It is available for both iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S III and is priced at $79.95. The $89.95 OBEX combo will include a case and a locking holster.
