Other than the i50S and i50D for iOS devices, Aiptek also built the MobileCinema A50P for Android smartphones and tablets. The pico projector comes in a “pad” form factor so Android phones can be placed on the top. With built-in micro USB cable, connection is easy and convenient. It works with all Mobile High Definition Link (MHL) enabled Android devices.
The A50P is based on DLP technology and uses RGB LEDs as light source. It delivers 640×480 VGA resolution, 35 ANSI lumens brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio. Unlike i50S and i50D that needs Aiptek Viewer app, no app is needed for projection. With micro HDMI port, you can also use the A50P with notebook, computer or other HDMI-enabled devices. Its 1850mAh internal battery is enough for 2 hours of projection and can also be used to charge your Android device.
The MobileCinema A50P is available at Expansys for GBP198.99.
