TRENDnet launches its new TPL-402E2K 500Mbps Powerline AV Adapter Kit with bonus outlet. Designed to create a secure high speed building-wide network from any electrical outlet, the kit includes two 500 Mbps adapters that feature a built in electrical outlet and embedded power saving technology.
TRENDnet’s new kit is compliant with IEEE1901 and HomePlug AV standards. Each adapter offers 10/100/1000Mbps Auto-MDIX Gigabit port and electrical power socket, three LED indicators, and one One-touch Sync button that networks adapters quickly. The TPL-402E2K includes advanced 128-bit AES encryption to ensure total network security.
The TRENDnet TPL-402E2K kit offers a signal transmission range of up to 300 meters and up to 16 adapters can be used to provide network connection to devices in different rooms without running new cabling. The kit is priced at $179.99.
