Sony Ericsson expands its Xperia line with, along with the Xperia PLAY, two new Android devices – the Xperia neo and the Xperia pro, joining the flagship Xperia arc announced at the CES 2011. The neo is a stylish Android phone with a unique shape that ergonomically designed to fit perfectly in the user’s hand, especially when taking pictures.
The Xperia neo features a 3.7-inch Reality display with Sony’s Mobile BRAVIA Engine, a 8 Megapixel main camera with LED flash and a 2 Megapixel front-facing camera. It has built-in HDMI allowing user to show images and video on their HDTV. It is not surprise to found GPS/aGPS, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity and a microSD card slot.
Sony Ericsson’s new Xperia is powered by a SnapDragon MSM8255 1GHz processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. It supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and HSPA networks. Blue gradient, red and silver models will be available.
