TomTom launches the its new PRO 7100 TRUCK GPS navigation device, providing truck drivers with improved route guidance as well as a significant expansion of its coverage of access restrictions affecting large vehicles around Europe.
The PRO 7100 TRUCK has a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen for easy control, integrated Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free calling, and a pre-installed 8GB SD memory card. The device includes IQ Routes, support for LIVE service, Map Share and text-to-speech functions. The device’s route guidance favours major roads, minimises sharp turns and makes allowances for the lower speeds at which trucks typically travel.
The TomTom PRO 7100 TRUCK comes pre-loaded with maps of 45 European countries for large vehcile route guidance, and weight- and dimension-related access restrictions information for major and interconnecting roads of 15 countries. The device is priced at Euro 300 or GBP349.
