Verizon Wireless is the latest among the Big 4 mobile operators in the US to get its own Galaxy S smartphone, the Samsung Fascinate, following AT&T Captivate, Sprint Epic 4G and T-Mobile Vibrant. The Samsung Fascinate has a design that is more like T-Mobile’s Vibrant.

Just like other Galaxy S phones, the Fascinate sports 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor and runs Android 2.1 with TouchWiz UI, Samsung Social Hub, and Swype keyboard. It has a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel camera with 720p video recording, Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS support and six-axis sensor. It has 2GB internal memory and comes with 16GB microSD card.

Verizon’s Fascinate includes 3G Mobile HotSpot capabilities as well as V CAST Music, V CASTVideo, VZ Navigator services. Availability and pricing will be announced later.
