Taiwan company WonderMedia introduces the SmartStream wireless media adapter based on WonderMedia PRIZM system-on-chip (SoC) and utilizes Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) technology. The device allows users to replicate their computer’s display on their TV screen using either Ethernet or WiFi connection.
In addition to wireless display, the SmartStream offers also a USB port for adding keyboard or mouse allowing users to controll the PC from the TV side, meaning it’s not necessary for the PC to be in the same room as the television. No words yet on availability.
