Netgear announced the WNHDB3004, a new wireless-N HD home theater kit designed to stream multiple HD videos flawlessly throughout the home wirelessly. The kit includes a two adapters, one to be plugged into existing router and the other into any home theater device with an Ethernet port, such as Blu-ray player, PS3, XBox 360, HD media player.
No set-up is needed and the kit is pre-configured with security. It utilizes IEEE 802.11a/n 5GHz wireless LAN chipset and features 4×4 multiple-input, multiple-out (MIMO) antenna signal processing, real-time spectrum analysis,.
Also announced is the Netgear WNCE2001 Universal WiFi Internet Adapter for home entertainment devices and gaming consoles. It works with any device with Ethernet LAN port and is powered by the USB port.
The WNHDB3004 home theater kit will be released in Q3 and the WNCE2001 adapter will be available in may for $79.
