Western Digital updates is WD TV media player with the new WD TV Mini Media Player that comes support for RealVideo format. The compact box plays video, music and photos on your HDTV in up to 1080i HD resolution.
The WD TV Mini HD media player has no internal storage, instead it plays media content from your USB flash drive, USB hard drive and even USB camcorders. It supports FAT32, NTFS and HFS+ file formats. WD’s new media player lacks HDMI output and offers just Composite and Component video outputs and optical audio ouput via SPDIF.
Most media formats are supported including RMVB/RM, XviD, FLAC, you can see the list below. The WD TV Mini is now available for $99.99, including a remote control.
