Philips is going to launch the C600, a dual mode mobile phone that supports both tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900 MHz) and CDMA 800MHz networks. The candy-bar style C600 has a 2.4-inch QVGA touchscreen, a 1.3 Megapixel camera with video recording and integrated media player.
As you can see in the picture, the phone has two call buttons, one for GSM and one for CDMA. We believe the phone will offer an independent SIM card slot for each network as well. The C600 accepts microSD cards.
Philips will also launch the W186 for China Unicom’s Wo 3G service. The W186 is a candybar phone with tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900 MHz) and dual-band UMTS (850/2100 MHz)/HSDPA support. It has a 2-inch display, a 2 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth, FM tuner and microSD slot.
