Samsung’s subsidiary, Radvision presents the new Scopia VC240 HD video conference LCD monitor. The VC240 is an all-in-one HD video conferencing solution with a 5 Megapixel CMOS image sensor, allowing 720p 30fps live video up to 2Mbps

Radvision’s VC240 is a 23.6-inch monitor with 1920x1080p Full HD resolution, 300cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time and 170/160-degree viewing angle. It includes H.264 codec, Advanced screen layouts and a noise-cancelling microphone and 3Wx2 speakers.

The monitor supports Video and Voice over Internet Protocols (V2oIP)  and is compatible with Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) based Multipoint Control Units (MCUs) and Unified Communications (MS).

Radvision Scopia VC240 (aka Samsung SyncMaster VC240) offers DVI-I and VGA inputs. It will be available in Fall 2009 for $1999.
