Mintpass, founded by the founder of Reigncom, iRiver’s parent company, presents a WiFi-enabled device called mintpad. The mintpad is a compact device powered by an ARM9 400MHz processor and 128MB RAM. It will come with 4GB internal memory and supports SD and SDHC memory cards.
Mintpass’s mintpad supports WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity and has a 2.86-inch display and a built-in 1.3 Megapixel camera. mintpad runs WinCE 5.0 Professional OS. As a multimedia device, mintpad supports playback of MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV, APE, FLAC music; AVI, MPEG1/2/4, WMV7/8/9, MP4 video; as well as JPG, BMP PNG image files.
Would Mintpass offer the mintpad outside Korea? Let’s wait and see.
